Hike or ride out to magnificent views of Zion National Park to the northeast and St George to the west. Camping is free.

Experience solitude and beauty at Little Creek Mesa Utah. When you get there, grab a campsite, and go for an evening mountain bike ride along the rim of the mesa and see breathtaking views of the valley below as the sun sets.

Little Creek Mesa is located 22 miles from Hurricane, Utah and only 8 miles from state highway 59. It's directly south of its cousin, Gooseberry Mesa, but with fewer people hiking, biking, camping, or 4-wheeling.

The camping is on BLM, so it's free, but it's also primitive. There are no vault toilets, and even though it's called Little Creek Mesa, there are little to no water sources. The last stretch of road is a bit rough, so a low-clearance vehicle may not make it, but there is a campsite or two before it gets rough. Cell coverage is not a problem, so you can use Google driving directions below to guide you to the spot.

Spend some time exploring Little Creek Mesa, there are some cool rock formations, and the views are unforgettable.

Came here on a Sunday night in April to get away from everyday life for a night and it was perfect! The dirt road wasn't too challenging and the views were amazing. Found an awesome camping spot -- though there were plenty to choose from and quite a few established fire pits. I brought my dogs and let them run. The sunset was beautiful, the weather was perfect. I only wish I'd stayed another night so we could spend a day or two exploring. Will HAVE to come back!
