Seward Street Slides
San Francisco, California
Description
Added by Outbound
Dual concrete slides hidden in an SF neighborhood. Good clean fun and a unique date idea. Open daily from 9am – 5pm.
Tucked away in a small neighborhood park in Eureka Valley is a set of really fun, slippery, and surprisingly steep concrete slides. They were originally designed by a 14 year old kid over 30 years ago, and we all owe him a big hat tip. People use a variety of sliding materials (saucers, food trays, etc), but good ol’ cardboard is your best bet. You can usually find some lying around at the base of the slides, but I’d recommend that you bring your own (and pack it out).
The slides are surrounded by a small park, native California plants, and super-vigilant neighbors who have no problems reporting post-5pm shenanigans…so please be courteous.

Seward Street Slides Reviews
If it has rained recently, bring your own cardboard to sit on. Beware of elbow raspberries. A brunch at zazie and these slides equal a magical sf day!
