Beach is a really great spot to watch the sunset. Rocky, but cool to walk around and explore.

Did you know this is Washingtons tallest bridge? We’d seen videos on it so finally checked it out. You can drive through, but only 1 car at a time. We also chose to walk across bridge. Great views from both sides, and one side also has a waterfall for viewing. Easy drive up, some pot holes but anh car can manage. No bathrooms

Love finding all thr PNW trolls! This one in particular is located in Portland, but about 20 min from downtown. Easy to park and access the troll in a few minutes. Great activity for all ages and a perfect and fun way to get outoodrs!

Idaho is known for its natural accessible hot springs so we knew we had to enjoy some while visiting. Loved these hot springs. Close to Stanley and right off of the highway. Not many spaces for cars, but only 1 other visitior when we were there. Clean, nice warm water and very beautiful and relaxing. Careful some spots of the water were very hot! Not so great for small kids, buf nice for adults to relax.

Beautiful lake. We went in November when the lodge is closed so no one there. It is a beautiful spot to sit down and enjoy the lake with the Mountain View’s. Very quiet and relaxing. Big parking lot, but I imagine in summertime. It does get full quickly. Bathrooms are closed in the winter.

If you’re looking for a great workout not too far from Waikiki, this is it. Careful on some of the rails, the gaps can be far apart. Cool to do for sunset.

Absolute knee CRUSHER! this hike was brutal on the body. A big incline straight up, but the views were rewarding at the top. Take lots of water and proper footwear.

Absolutely our favorite hike in WA! The views were unreal. Either way you go, you wont be disappointed. This trail gets busy in the summer. Nice to also take a dip in the lake to cool down

Bucket list WA hike for yesrs! AMAZING views at the top, pretty much the whole trail. Its a loop, so either way you’ll be rewarded. Not so kid friendly, bit of an incline. And it gets extremely busy. Best to go on a weekday.

HUGE falls right off the main road. Can get very busy, but easy to park. Beautiful year around and at no cost. Great for the whole family. A trail up to the top if uou want to add a little adventure. Bathrooms, coffee snd a shop available on site.

Probably my favorite scenic beach on oahu! The water is gorgeous, warm and sandy. Great for eveyone. The mountain views paired with the palm trees and water is just perfect. Huge parking lot, clean bathrooms. Big plus not crowded at all

Love this beach! Have been 2 times now on different trips. GREAT for kids. The water is gorgeous and the sand is nixe and soft. Not to mention the water is warm and refreshing. Huge parking lot and lots of space to find a spot.

Staying on the North Shore this is a good place to snorkle, but wouldnt say its great for smaller kids. Its very rocky getting into the water and most of the fish are farther out. The current can also be strong in some spots. It does get pretty busy in the summer but we saw lots of fish and a turtle. Parking isnt great either. Have to park on the side of the road and it gets full.

One of the first firelookouts we did and loved it! Most of the trail is through the forest but once you get higher, you have amazing views of Rainier! We even cooled off and took a dip in 1 of the lakes towards the top.

Each parking. $5 cash required. The river is gorgeous! Dogs allowed, and a few falls along thr way. Perfect to visit during any season.

Love owens beach at point defiance, especially in the summer! In sunmer uou can rent kayaks, single or tandem. Lots of seals and if you’re lucky dolphins. This is also a great spot to let kids play, the entry is small rocks though. Also dog friendly and a great spot to try and find orcas when they are migrating.

Big parking lot, great for peoplemof all ages. Bathrooms available
