Marshall Beach located on the Tomales Bay side of Point Reyes National Seashore is reached via an out-and-back hiking or mountain biking trail. 

Camping:
There are boat-in campsites available at Marshall Beach. The campsite does not permit hike-in campers, boat-in only via kayak, canoe, paddleboard or small motor boat. To camp, you will need an overnight backcountry permit, which you can make via recreation.gov or by calling (877) 444-6777.  

Pets:
Dogs are not permitted on the hiking trail to access Marshall Beach, but are permitted on the beach. In order to bring your pup, you would need to access the beach via boat. (Source: NPS.gov)

Marshall Beach Reviews

This hike has so much variety and is shockingly beautiful. Wild flowers, mollusk covered rocks. Surfers and spectacular views of the bridge. The beach is easy to walk on and the stairs are helpful for the climb back. Loved it!!
