Kayak Lake Crescent
Port Angeles, Washington
Description
Added by Rose Freeman
Glide across the crystal blue waters of Lake Crescent. Head out from the Log Cabin Resort to a nearby beach!
From the Log Cabin Resort located on the east shore of Lake Crescent, rent a kayak and spend the day on the water! My husband and I rented a kayak on our honeymoon for a day and explored half of the lake staying close to the east shore.
You can see the bridge for the Spruce Railroad trail on the shoreline of the lake and find a rocky beach to rest and eat lunch. The lake has deep waters of and a unique rocky shoreline! You can jump in the water from the beach to cool off and to take some fun underwater pictures, too. I recommend renting the kayaks for about 3 hours as that was the perfect amount of time for our adventure!

Kayak Lake Crescent Reviews
We went stand-up paddle boarding on Lake Crescent and camped there over night. The first day, the weather was overcast but not rainy, and the experience was fun but a little cold and mostly an attempt to stay dry. The next morning, however, the sun was out full force, the lake was shimmering, and it was the perfect temperature for swimming and paddling. Just like every adventure in Olympic National Park, this one is an INCREDIBLE experience on a great day, but great days are hard to come by
