Huka Falls is located extremely close to Taupo and offers an easy to do with people of any ability. Enjoy a beautiful waterfall and river and hot pools on the walk in.

This hike begins in the Spa Thermal Park and there is one clear path to follow. After a couple minutes there is a bridge that crosses over a small section of the lake. This section of the lake is formed by several hot pools and is a great place to swim for a bit. From here the trail continues along the left bank of the river. The trail is mostly flat but has occasional slight uphills and downhills.

Huka falls is an easy walk, with a lot of pay off. I have never seen water like this anywhere in my lifetime, an absolutely insane and dangerous rapid. However very mesmerising to look at all the same!
