Short, steep hike to the top of a Teton with stunning views of the valley.
Depending on how old your vehicle is, this hike could be as difficult for your rig as it is for you. At the top of the Pass, there is a generously-sized parking area. The unmarked trail for Mt. Glory is on the opposite side of the road, and you can't miss it if you look for the yellow speed limit caution sign. After breaching the shallow tree line, the trail tightly zigzags up the face of the mountain with little respite until you reach a small saddle with radio equipment scattered about. Though a false summit, do not despair, for you are only about 150 ft from the true summit! Though short and sweet, this is a very steep hike, covering over 1600 ft in a mile. It took me about 45 minutes, having lived at higher elevation for about 4 weeks at the time. This is a popular destination for back-country skiers in the winter time, so there is a bootpack up the steep path.
The third picture gives you an example of how steep it is--taken of the parking lot, about 3/4 of the way up the trail.

Hike Mt. Glory Reviews
This is a very steep hike to the top of Mt. Glory but well worth the effort. We continued north following the trail around to Ski Lake and out to the highway. Thumbed a ride back to the pass to get our car.
