Jade Cove is a small cove with turquoise waters and rocks to explore.
The entrance to jade cove is off the side of the road on Hwy 1. There is lots of side parking available. You go down a short unmarked trail and keep left. You'll find yourself at the top of a cliff/mountain side that uses 2 ropes to get down. The first rope is short and not super difficult. The 2nd rope is much longer. The rocks get steeper and more crumbly closer to the bottom. Watch out for falling rocks as people above you climb up or down the rope. Stay on the path, as the sides may look steady, but there are not many solid rocks to hang on to. Big rocks can be deceiving and fall apart in your hand.
Note: Big rocks can fall very fast from other people climbing up or down the rope. If you are below other people, be aware of big rocks falling.
