Jenny Lake has summer swimming/fishing hole written all over it. Beautiful clear mountain water and Jagged Teton backdrop.

To get here, Is very easy. Heading north out of Jackson Wyoming, just follow the signs once you enter Grand Teton National Park for the route to Jenny Lake. You can make this a day trip for hiking the lake or you can grab a spot on its shore line for a day of swimming and relaxation. If you're looking to fish, this lake has tons just waiting to be caught. A trip to the Tetons isn't complete without a day on the lake.

Bought some $5 inter-tubes at Walmart.... worth it. Camped at Jenny Lake and went tubing and chilled on the lake every evening.

The mountains and the lake are gorgeous in every sense of the word. Last time I was at Jenny Lake, I went for a dip while watching the sunset over the mountains. Being in the still waters of the lake, it felt like I was participating in the sunset and not just watching it from the parking lot. Get IN nature, y'all.

The Jenny Lake area is the most popular spot in the park, and for good reason. The beauty and diversity in this area is unrivaled, and there are many options for hiking that suit all ages and abilities. These include the Moose ponds, Cascade Canyon, Inspiration Point, and of course, the Jenny Lake loop. Black bears frequent this area so always be prepared with bear spray and make lots of noise on the trail. Best season to visit is in the Fall when the crowds have died down, and make sure to catch a sunset by the lake!

Jenny Lake is a beautiful lake that is an awesome place to go swimming and enjoy amazing views of the Tetons. It's a great spot to take your family as well.

Last year Jenny Lake became one of my favorite places on Earth. The water is gorgeous, the mountain views are damn near perfect, the campsite is a 5 minute walk, you'll run into wildlife. I feel guilty any time I visit another lake. Sorry, Jenny. So sorry...you're just too far away!

Jenny Lake is absolutely gorgeous. It has something that everyone of any age or experience can do. You can stick around close to the parking lot and still get a great view, or you can venture deep into the woods and find a more secluded trail to hike. Pretty iconic in the Tetons.
