Located in the San Bernardino National Forest and part of the Pacific Crest Trail, the Deep Creek Hot Springs are a relaxing site for those of us without access to a Jacuzzi. There are at least 4 pools of hot (not just warm) water that you can soak in with your fellow neighbor (who may or may not be wearing clothing). In case you didn't catch that, this is a clothing optional site. It should also be noted no camping is allowed within a mile of the springs, and that you should not drink the water.
Enter the intersection of Route 173 and Grass Valley Rd into your GPS. From there, head north on Route 173 to a dead end with a gate. Right before the gate is a small dirt parking area on your left. The trailhead is directly across the street on your right, called the Bradford Ridge Trail. The beginning is very gradual and goes through the hills until it reaches Deep Creek Canyon. The descent into the canyon is steep, making it a bit difficult on the way out.
Before the final descent, the trail splits in two - the right fork comes down a small canyon, while the left sticks to the ridge. Both are steep, but most people prefer the trail on the ridge. Hiking poles are very useful here.
Once you reach the bottom of either trail, continue to your right and you will come to the hot springs, shortly. This trail is preferred by some because you don't need to cross the cold creek to get to the springs. But, I highly recommend jumping in the cold water, and then jumping into the hot springs (multiple times). It feels shocking, but man is it good.

Deep Creek Hot Springs via Bradford Ridge Reviews
Gnarly decline before the hot springs and even gnarlier ascent back up, but it was well worth it. The hotsprings were amazing
