Shallow Lake Meadow offers camping without fees or crowds. There are countless lakes and trails nearby as well as great fishing. Added bonus, stunning views of Mt. Watson.

Located 1.5 hours from Salt Lake Cityand just 1 hour from Park City this mountain meadow is a great placeto take your next adventure! Getting there was a piece of cake, theroad is mainly paved then turns to lava...I mean gravel for the lastmile. Along the road are several already established camping spotswith fire pits for those wanting to spend the night. You can spendyour day taking photos or fly fishing for brook trout in the smallstream. The scenery was so gorgeous that we spent an entire day justswinging in hammocks and drinking our preferred adult beverage. Youalso don't have to go very far for even more sweet adventures. Within3.5 miles you have easy access to over 30 high alpine lakes and 6mountain peaks standing over 11,000 feet. This is an explorers paradise!

Weather note:

In the beginning of September is was80 degrees in the day and 33 degrees at night. Rained about everyother night for around 30 minutes each time.
