About Buffalo KOA Journey

The Wild West is at your doorstep when you camp at Buffalo KOA in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains. It's a convenient stopping point between Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park. You'll find find flat grassy pull thrus for big rigs, comfortable Cabins and quiet Tent Sites near a gurgling creek. Enjoy the privacy of a fenced Patio RV Site that features a gas grill, gazebo and hot tub. Cook a meal in the Camping Kitchen or follow the sidewalk to nearby restaurants. Explore Buffalo's historic downtown and the western artifacts at the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum. Tee off at the scenic Buffalo Golf Club in the shadow of the Big Horns, stretch your legs on the nearby Clear Creek Trail System or head for the mountains for more outdoor recreation.
