12 Photos of Morocco's Imperial Cities

For two weeks this past February I escaped the deep winter of the Sierra to soak in the warm and colorful Imperial Cities of Morocco.

The Imperial Cities of Morocco are the four historic capitals: Fez, Meknes, Rabat, and Marrakesh. Each is unique and full of wonders, from the beautiful tile mosaics of Royal Palaces, to the centuries old exotic walls of the Medinas. Except for Marrakesh, these cities seem to not have made the tourist bucket list yet. However, it's well worth the trip as they are all extremely authentic, charming, and inviting. Check out some of my favorite photos from the trip below.
